Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is currently seeking a Senior Transfer Pricing Analyst to work in the Tax Center of Excellence (CoE) in Buenos Aires.
The CoE deals with the Group's Transfer Pricing Compliance in over 75 countries.
The main responsibilities of the position will include:
Preparation of transfer pricing analyses.Accurate and timely preparation of Transfer Pricing Reports and Forms.Regular direction and interaction with the U.S. based Corporate Income Tax Operations Team, and regular interaction with local non-US tax and accounting teams.Provide support on transfer pricing audits and business direction and guidance with respect to intercompany transactions.Provide support on transfer pricing planning activities and ad-hoc projects.Ensure compliance with all relevant business and internal controls.Build strong internal relationships within the transfer pricing team and across other services.Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, with at least 4 years of prior experience in Transfer Pricing within a corporate or consulting firm environment.
Be a strong communicator with advanced spoken and written English skills.
Able to work independently as well as a strong team-player.
Analytical skills.
Strong skills in the use of technical tools and programs required to perform responsibilities, and ability to extract and interpret data from various internal systems.
Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel, should be comfortable with pivot tables and/or Power queries) are a must.
Use of Cognos Analytics, Power BI and similar tools is preferred, but not required.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated experience in a Transfer Pricing practice within a Corporate or Consulting firm.
Advanced/proficient verbal and written English communication.
