CaptivateIQ offers the smartest, most flexible way to automate sales commissions and track sales performance - two critical processes that power every successful sales organization on the planet. The Modeling team is responsible for building the first-class modeling experience that powers our customers' commissions processes.
You will be leading a fast-paced team that ships incrementally and iteratively, using data to drive decisions.
Responsibilities:Recruit, inspire, manage and grow a team of software engineersMentor the professional development of each engineer through personal and performance management and coachingDesign, build, and maintain user-facing components, APIs, services, and systems to solve problems and delight users from end-to-endWork closely with product owners to set priorities, objectives and clarify direction for the engineering teamBuild and evangelize best practices, high engineering and security standards, and continuously improve our codebases and team processesRequirements:5+ years software development experience as an individual contributor3+ years of Engineering Manager, people management and hands-on engineering managementStrong product sense to bridge the gap between product, design, and engineeringExperience building and shipping market-leading products that delight customersExperience building and delivering a product from zero to oneExceptional interpersonal and written communication skillsPrevious experience in a startup environmentStrong inclination towards data-driven decision making and measuring impactHigh sense of ownership and accountability with a proven track record of driving top-notch executionCollaborative, humble, learner with a strong growth mindsetBonus points:Experience with PythonExperience in the SaaS marketFinancial modeling experienceNotice to Prospective Candidates:Only emails from @captivateiq.com should be trusted.We are aware of active recruitment scams using the CaptivateIQ name, in which individuals pose as our recruiters and post fake remote job openings and make fake job offers on the Internet.
