Job Description - Maintenance Engineer for Conveyor Technology Paint Shop (MER0003H3V) Group: Mercedes-Benz Group AG
Description: As part of the Paint shop team, you will be responsible for mechanical and electronic inspections, maintenance, and repairs to sorter systems in our production and logistics areas as part of high-performance industrial paint shop production systems.This includes the development of technological strategies and maintenance processes (SAP- I-Pro- System) of conveyor systems such as Scissor-lifts, Roller beds, Main lifter, Cross- conveyor, and specific Paint shop requirements such as the Rodip- conveyor technology, or the oven and dip tank specifications.You will also prepare and follow-up on operations and cooperate in the preparation of maintenance reports.Support operational maintenance on site as an expert in the event of technical breakdowns, lead a team of up to ten employees during maintenance assignments/troubleshooting, and be pragmatic and solution-oriented. The team consists of electrical and automation technicians.Demonstrate a good understanding of your profession and enjoy working in a positive work culture.Qualifications: Higher technical education: MSc or Bachelor (preferably in Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).Several years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of paint shop technologies such as paint application and processes, chemicals, sprays, filtration, pumps, degreaser, rectifier process, anodes, sealant application.Knowledge of the automotive environment, including experience with automation, robots, PLC, and computer control systems.Very good organization of working time, commitment, diligence, and reliability.Responsibility and the ability to solve problems independently.Driving license B.English enabling easy communication.Ability to work in a team.Readiness to travel abroad.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland sp. z o.o.
