The Bookkeeper is entrusted with overseeing the entire spectrum of billing processes, from invoice creation to payment reconciliation. Integral to this role is close collaboration with various departments to guarantee the accuracy of billing information, promptly address any discrepancies, and meticulously maintain transaction records. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional numerical acumen, a keen eye for detail, and exemplary organisational capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
Execute and coordinate all billing tasks, encompassing invoice generation, payment collection, and meticulous record-keeping. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the integrity of billing data and information. Resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly and efficiently. Maintain comprehensive records of all billing transactions in adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present detailed reports on billing activities and trends. Contribute to the enhancement of billing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency. Perform data entry tasks using Tally and other relevant accounting software. Software/Tools:
Accounting Software: Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, FreshBooks Spreadsheet Software: Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets Communication and Collaboration Tools: ClickUp, Microsoft Teams, Slack Billing and Invoicing Software: Bill.com, Zoho Invoice, Wave, FreshBooks Expense Management Software: Expensify, Concur, Receipt Bank Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software: Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, Zoho CRM Skill set:
Proficient numerical skills for accurate handling of financial data. Meticulous attention to detail to identify and rectify billing errors and discrepancies. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and maintain meticulous records. Effective communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders. Proficient problem-solving skills to address billing issues promptly and effectively. Experience:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a finance department. Proficiency in using Tally and other accounting software for data entry and financial management. Sound knowledge of billing procedures and regulatory requirements. Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports. Must have experience:
