Alfa is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team based in our London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a passion for telling a story with data utilizing BI tools and helping guide commercial business decisions through effective analysis.
The FP&A team provides a key business partnering function and aims to support the business in planning and executing its strategic growth objectives.
Key responsibilities/activities: Reporting and Presentations: Prepare monthly reporting including management reports, financial KPIs, chargeability and customer profitability reporting, working with Finance colleagues and the wider business to prepare meaningful analysis and commentary.Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop accurate financial forecasts using financial systems, monitor budgets for tech functions.Business partnering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide guidance and support, control budget execution.Data Structures: Drive enhancements to the quality of Alfa's data, in collaboration with Information Systems and Financial Reporting teams and other business units.Implementation of Power BI to leverage efficiency of Finance reporting and analysis, including monitoring of data integrations, with scope to further integrate across other business functions.Create valuable commercial insights through ad hoc financial and operational analysis, enabling the business to make data-driven decisions.Administration of Financial systems: Managing Workday and Adaptive Planning tool and effective use throughout regular forecasting cycles, report writing, automation of current reports.Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement best practices, and enhance efficiency in financial reporting.We're looking for someone who has: Proven experience in Financial analysis or FP&A role.Professional qualification in Finance or Accounting (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).Advanced Excel skills.Experience with accounting and/or ERP systems (Workday and/or Adaptive Planning preferred) and Power BI (experience with implementing the tool a bonus).Attention to detail, inquisitive and prepared to use initiative to solve problems.Comfortable working to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.What we'll do for you: Support you in flexible hybrid or remote working.25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays and flexible cultural days.Pension contribution match up to 6%.Provide private health insurance and access to private 24/7 online GP.Support you with enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave with family-friendly policies.Provide Income protection.Provide Life, disability and worldwide travel insurance.Offer interest-free loans of up to £10,000 after the probation period.Offer Gympass giving access to a range of health and wellbeing gyms, classes and apps.About Alfa: We bring our industry-leading software platform to the likes of Mercedes-Benz and CarMax, so they can do business globally.
