Job Summary: The General Job (GJ) Technician performs routine maintenance, diagnostics, and general repairs on Toyota vehicles.
This role ensures the highest level of service quality and customer satisfaction by adhering to Toyota standards and providing timely and efficient vehicle servicing.
The GJ Technician will collaborate with the service team and actively contribute to maintaining a productive and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using various diagnostic tools and equipment.Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed according to Toyota standards and guidelines.Utilize diagnostic tools to identify vehicle malfunctions and determine appropriate repair solutions.Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that all vehicle issues are identified and resolved.Communicate effectively with Service Advisors to ensure an accurate understanding of customer concerns.Provide high-quality service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired on time to minimize customer downtime.Work collaboratively with other technicians and team members to meet service goals.Share technical knowledge and support team members in resolving complex vehicle issues.Maintain a cooperative and professional working relationship with all team members.Operate various diagnostic, repair, and maintenance equipment efficiently and safely.Ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.Accurately document all services performed, including parts used and labor hours.
Follow established protocols for service reporting and vehicle inspection documentation.Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with Toyota service standards.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety guidelines are followed.QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess good automotive knowledge, particularly in General Job (GJ) matters.Must be able to follow written and oral instructions effectively.Must be customer-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional service.Must be able to work as a productive team member and foster a collaborative work environment.Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues.Must be knowledgeable in using various diagnostic, repair, and maintenance equipment.
