This client-facing role is responsible for addressing the reporting needs of assigned clients.
The role involves designing tools and reports to enhance productivity and measure the impact of sales force activities and other promotional efforts.
The individual will act as the point person for ensuring the quality of all delivered information.
Additionally, this position owns the reporting solutions and provides training to internal and field-based teams.
Responsible to support goals of strategic operations & reporting teams.
Responsibilities:Serve as the Reporting lead for reporting services from pre-implementation to project completion, including gathering specifications for KPIs, report generation, timeline development, time allocation, quality control, and insight generation.Meet with Sales Management and Clients to establish, monitor, and review performance.Drive and support the development of reports.Assist in the design of new reporting initiatives.Provide strategic and tactical direction for analytics projects and perform quality control on all deliverables, including standard and recurring reports.Create and maintain project documentation, including Business Rules, documentation, report inventory and scope changes.Periodically collect and disseminate project information and data for account activation and client services managers as needed.Proactively provide insights on impact, effectiveness, activities, trends, and projections regarding performance, efficiencies, and potential improvements.Training of field teams, managers, and clients on the utility of reports, when necessary.Prepare and communicate detailed process workflow charts that describe inputs, execution steps, and outputs.Correlate activities to results and discern trends while providing observations and insights to achieve brand objectives.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree2+ years of Pharmaceutical Industry and Technical ExperienceStrong analytical, mathematical, quantitative skills with attention to detail.Working knowledge of CRM systems, including but not limited to Salesforce.com and Veeva.Experience with visual analytics platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) and pharma data sets.Proficiency with multiple reporting tools and data sets, including Microsoft SQL, MS Excel, and MS Access, with expertise in formulas, expressions, and charting.Knowledge of how to deploy technology to improve efficiencies and effectiveness, including business intelligence tools.Ability to interact with all levels of management in various functional areas, including sales, marketing, sales systems, and managed care.Ability to interact with client stakeholders in various functional areas, including medical affairs, market access, managed care, consumer, and brand teams.Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, manage customer expectations, and execute timely deliverables.Oral and written communication skills.Knowledge of sales and marketing functions with the ability to anticipate needs, make recommendations, and respond to ad hoc requests quickly and appropriately.Preferred Skills:Strong statistical knowledge, training, and presentation skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, SQL and Excel.At Syneos Health, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
