Your Purpose As part of the Localization team in Design, your work will have a real impact on Bitso's mission to make crypto useful, ensuring that our content effectively resonates with and suits the needs of our Mexican users. Based on your linguistic expertise and deep understanding of the country's context, you'll translate/edit/proofread the EN es_MX UI content to make sure that it delivers a strong local experience.
You'll also collaborate with Marketing and other teams to advise on the cultural nuances of the target market, assure translation quality, consistency in messaging and adherence to brand guidelines. Your role will also involve operational tasks, such as terminology management, style guide maintenance, and much more If you have a passion for languages and are willing to provide top-notch quality translations that will support a dazzling in-app experience and our brand growth, we would love to hear from you
Reports To Who You Are Native speaker of Mexican SpanishProficient level of EnglishBachelor's degree in Languages or TranslationRelevant experience in the localization industryStrong translation, writing, and editing skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with CAT tools, QA tools and machine translation systemsKnowledge of terminology, translation memory and project managementAbility to take on challenging projects, meet deadlines and work under pressureCapacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partnersKnowledge of Brazilian Portuguese is a plusWhat You Will Do Provide high-quality English Mexican Spanish translations (and vice-versa) for our products, communications and other touch points.Edit and proofread both es_MX and EN content.Work closely with the Design team to adapt our products to the local market and fix linguistic and market-specific issues before launch.Translate/edit/proofread Marketing copies and other content types.Identify key improvements in the existing es_MX content in our platforms.Maintain and improve our Style Guide and Glossary for Mexico.Assess the quality of outsourced translations and provide improvement recommendations.Help refine our localization processes based on the needs of each team to adapt to an ever-changing business.Research in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion suggests that individuals may hesitate to apply for jobs if they do not meet all the listed criteria.
