Description The Maintenance Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities within our organization.This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing strategies to improve the reliability and efficiency of our maintenance processes.The Maintenance Reliability Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies, monitor equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.By understanding the importance of different assets, maintenance can prioritize their efforts and allocate resources accordingly. Reliability engineers provide insight into the impact of equipment failures on production, safety, and cost of repairs.Develop and implement maintenance strategies: Collaborate with maintenance and process teams to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies that optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Conduct thorough analysis of equipment performance data, failure patterns, and maintenance records to identify potential areas for improvement.Use this analysis to develop proactive maintenance plans and strategies.Utilize various monitoring techniques, such as condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance tools, to track and evaluate equipment performance.Identify trends, anomalies, and potential failures to take proactive measures.Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance practices, processes, and equipment reliability.Collaborate with process teams to develop and execute action plans.Investigate equipment failures and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.Implement preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.The reliability engineer will provide input on equipment criticality and failure rates to guide the spare parts management decisions and collaborate to ensure that new assets or modifications to existing assets are designed and implemented with reliability in mind.Qualifications Higher technical education: MSc or Bachelor (preferably Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering).Several years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of identification, analysis and implementation of strategies to improve the reliability and efficiency of our maintenance processes.Knowledge of automotive environment including experience with Automation, Robots, PLC, Computer control systems.Very good organization of working time, commitment, diligence, reliability.Responsibility and the ability to solve problems independently.Driving license B.Knowledge of German / English enabling easy communication.Ability to work in a team.Readiness to travel abroad.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland sp. zo. o.
