Description Responsibilities: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, Maven, TestNG, and Rest Assured for API testing.Design and implement test frameworks and test strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing of web-based applications and APIs.Perform exploratory testing to identify defects and usability issues.Report and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and participate in defect triage meetings.Develop and maintain automated test suites for continuous integration and deployment pipelines.Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve software quality and performance.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Document test cases, test plans, and testing processes.Skill Requirements (M-Mandatory): (M) Strong proficiency in Java programming language for test automation.(M) Hands-on experience with TestNG or other testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).(M) Proficiency in Rest Assured for API automation testing.(M) Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.(M) Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed bug reports.Experience with Maven for project build and dependency management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.Knowledge of SQL and database testing principles is a plus.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
