Position Summary
The Junior FP&A Analyst will support the regular cadence of budgeting, financial forecasting, reporting, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling. This role requires strong analytical and strategic thinking, as well as excellent Excel and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the regular cadence of budgeting, financial forecasting, reporting, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling.
- Assist in building and owning financial and operating models, analyzing data room contents, drafting diligence memos, building pro forma financial and operating models, and assisting in the closing processes.
- Partner with market and functional leaders to help develop forecasts, reporting critical metrics, and to operationalize data-driven insights and facilitate decision making within cross-functional teams.
- Perform capital expenditure, working capital, and liquidity analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business and other ad-hoc analyses.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or MBA.
- 1-2 years finance experience in financial planning & analysis / corporate finance, or within the finance team.
- Strong analytical and strategic approach, always looking to deep dive into the figures and challenge the numbers.
- Expert level Excel and presentation skills, with experience building financial models and preparing presentations that clearly convey analysis and conclusions.
