The Security Assurance Consultant position is part of our Information Security department, focusing on supporting EY's global information security program. As a key member of our team, you will assist in responding to client inquiries and activities related to EY's information security governance program.
You will primarily support EY engagement teams in addressing client requests regarding the security of technology solutions used to deliver professional services. Additionally, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Client Security Assurance function.
- Meetings and Discussions: Participate in client meetings to discuss information security topics and address their questions and concerns.
- Function Development: Collaborate with the team to develop, implement, and maintain our Client Security Assurance function.
- Contract Analysis: Support the review process and provide commentary on information security requirements in client contractual agreements.
You will work independently with minimal oversight from management, completing assigned tasks in line with EY quality standards and expected timeframes.
To succeed in this role, you must have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, as well as 3 years of experience in Information Security or related IT disciplines. You should possess a working knowledge of information security standards, such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, ITIL, and COBIT, and an understanding of security-related regulatory and data privacy concerns globally.
