Job Overview:
We're seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team and work on a 6-month project focused on enhancing mobile test automation.
As a key member of our QA team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for mobile applications using the Detox framework.
You'll collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a 6-month project focused on enhancing mobile test automation;
- Functional testing of new features;
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for mobile applications using the Detox framework;
- Collaborating with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage;
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases;
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and inconsistencies to ensure the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms;
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and the integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines;
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and good grasp of modern testing best practices;
- Experience working in agile development teams and contributing to a collaborative work environment;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on expertise in building and writing automation tests using the Detox framework;
- Familiarity with additional test automation tools (e.g., Appium);
- Experience with performance and security testing of mobile applications;
- Knowledge of RESTful API testing and integration techniques;
- Exposure to version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools;
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
