We are seeking an Internal Controls Expert to join our team at Galileo Financial Technologies.
As a key member of our SOX Program Management Office (PMO), you will play a critical role in ensuring we meet the USA's SEC SOX requirements.
The SOX Function is split between the PMO and Testing Operations functions. The PMO facilitates risk assessment and scoping to determine project scope of each reporting year, while the Testing Operations Center partners with the PMO to strategize testing plans and approaches.
Responsibilities:- Directly execute assigned control testing and reviews over Business and IT controls assigned by the Testing PMO.
- Report to the SOX Testing Operations Center Senior Manager, supporting oversight of testing execution to ensure testing is timely and performed per set standards.
- Oversee 1-2 direct reports who will execute SOX testing.
- Document and raise any identified deficiencies, as well as other key observations/recommendations with the SOX PMO and Management as appropriate.
You will also act as a subject matter expert in SOX testing area over Business and IT Process controls.
