Are you ready to join a team that's revolutionizing tax compliance? As a QA Engineer II at Sovos, you'll play a key role in ensuring our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

In this exciting role, you'll collaborate with our talented team of engineers to drive automation, solve complex challenges, and influence the direction of our products.

The Work You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain regression tests and product documentation to ensure the quality and consistency of our software solutions.
  • Identify areas for automation to enhance test stability and support continuous integration.
  • Debug and improve automated test scripts and troubleshoot basic bugs.
  • Actively participate in the code release process and contribute to team decisions to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the product to assist with onboarding and cross-team collaboration.
  • Proactively communicate product knowledge and dependencies to support collaboration between development and other teams.
  • Recognize valuable insights, share knowledge with the team, and promote Sovos Core Values and Global QA Practices.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively while supporting the team in updating activity status and progress.

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-4 years of experience in QA or a related role.
  • Familiarity with Sovos' SDLC and SCRUM processes.
  • Strong understanding of product functionality, with the ability to contribute to higher-quality planning and estimation.
  • Experience with issue triage, basic troubleshooting, and bug reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and support team collaboration.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check, including drug screen.
