Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Security Manager to join our team at Daimler AG (Canada). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety and security policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with ISO 45001 standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Security Operations: Ensure the safety and security of all employees and visitors at our locations in India, including direct deployment of guarding contract staff.
  2. Emergency & Crisis Management: Manage emergency & crisis situations, advise senior management, and coordinate with other entities in India.
  3. Fire Protection: Conduct training & drills for each location based on Government of India regulations.
  4. Project Management: Provide project management standby & support to the department manager.
  5. Expat Security: Pre-assess gated communities in Bangalore and Pune for expat housing.
  6. Travel Security: Coordinate with the regional security officer and CS headquarters during crisis situations.
  7. Security Situation and Incident Management: Coordinate incident handling and communication with the Corporate Security team.
  8. Investigations & Prevention: Support local investigations, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate with IT and stakeholders.
  9. Event Security: Risk assessment, planning, and vendor management for company events.
  10. Personal Protection: Coordinate with the personal protection team for BOM visits and plan local security and transport arrangements.
  11. Identity and Authorization Management: Access control, badge printing, and parking management with strategic planning.
  12. Vendor Management: Coordinate vendor staff deployment, billing, and bill processing with finance.
Requirements
  1. University degree and substantial experience in the field of security management.
  2. Lead Auditor ISO 45001:2019 and Lead Auditor ISO 22301:2019 certifications.
  3. Experience managing crisis situations and/or corporate crises, with strategic thinking and ability to handle varying workloads.
  4. Good leadership skills, high level of commitment, dedication, and assertiveness.
  5. Extensive knowledge of corporate processes and security structures.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field.
  7. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  8. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety and security management role.
  9. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  10. Ability to conduct risk assessments and manage emergency response procedures effectively.
Work Environment

This position requires a balance of office work and fieldwork, including site inspections and audits. It may also involve occasional travel to other company locations or for training purposes.
