We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Commercial Analytics. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving customer experiences through data-driven insights.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced analytics solutions that drive commercial excellence. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining large-scale data models and algorithms to inform business decisions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Analyzing complex data sets to uncover trends and insights that drive business growth
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., engineering, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics)
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one other programming language (e.g., R, Python, C++, Minitab, SAS, Matlab, VBA)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, D3, Shiny)
  • Theoretical or practical experience in mathematical optimization techniques (e.g., linear and non-linear optimization, mixed integer programming, sensitivity analysis, constraint programming)
  • Experience with machine learning methods (e.g., multivariate regression, feature engineering, random forests, XGBoost, elastic nets, hierarchical bayesian regression, unsupervised learning, clustering/segmentation)
