Job Description
The Aircraft Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our company aircraft. This position requires a deep understanding of aircraft systems, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in business aviation maintenance and avionics, with a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate. NCATT Certification - Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) with related endorsements is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain aircraft systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize aircraft dispatch reliability and operational availability.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize flight schedule impact.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to maintenance teams.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for aircraft maintenance.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as aviation, engineering, or business.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
- NCATT Certification - Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) with related endorsements preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft experience.
- Recent experience with CAMP and CMP Aviation Maintenance Tracking Software.
Work Environment:
This role requires frequent travel, including domestic and international trips. The successful candidate must be able to lift items weighing up to 40lbs from floor to shoulder level and possess the physical ability to perform all required job functions.
