At Jam City, we're on a mission to create engaging mobile games that captivate audiences worldwide. As a skilled Character and VFX Animator, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our games to life. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting high-quality character and effects animations that delight our players.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with our art and animation leadership to define direction, methods, and approaches to solving creative animation challenges.
* Create storyboards planning out the animation to be done.
* Work with production and project managers to accurately scope and size level of effort and deliverables.
* Develop a strong portfolio showcasing your understanding of timing, momentum, effects, weight, and anticipation.
* Utilize Unity's keyframe animation and graph editor to create polished animations.
* Experience with Unity's particle system and animation optimization is a plus.

**Requirements:**

* Animation degree or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum 2-3 years of professional animation experience.
* Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to present feedback and ideas in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
* Passion for video games and a sense of humor.
* Self-starter, reliable, and passionate about their work.
