We are seeking a seasoned procurement expert to join our team as a Category Buyer for Billable Services. This individual will play a critical role in driving business growth by optimizing the procurement process and ensuring the successful sourcing and subcontracting of professional and technology services.
As a Category Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of third-party services for customer projects within SAP's Global Procurement Organization and reporting directly to the Vice President Service Procurement.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships.
- Implementation and execution of the category strategy
- Procurement-related tasks, stakeholder management, and demand management
- Procurement leadership and trusted business partner for Line of Business representatives
- 3+ years' experience in progressive procurement within a multinational business
- Ability to crystallize business requirements and translate them into actionable steps
- Experience working in a fast-paced complex environment
