About the Role: Our client's finance team is responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency of their senior living properties. This includes managing accounts payable, reconciling bank accounts, preparing loan draws, and supporting audits, tax filings, and financial compliance for contracts and agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage external property accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting and investor updates.
  • Collaborate with property teams to train staff on accounting processes and invoice management.
  • Oversee accounts payable, including vendor bills, credit transactions, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with debt covenants and support audits, tax filings, and financial compliance for contracts and agreements.
  • Identify process improvements for efficiency and assist with due diligence projects.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in U.S. senior living property accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Yardi Accounting Software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • CPA certification (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in Senior Living or similar asset management environments.
