Biblical Studies Educator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Professor of Ancient Languages to join our team at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies. As a leading online academy for Biblical Studies, we aim to provide students with a deeper understanding of the Bible through masterful instruction in biblical languages.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Biblical Studies, Hebrew Language, Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Linguistics, or a related field. Prior teaching experience in the field of Biblical Hebrew is preferred, whether at the university, seminary, or religious institution level. Demonstrated proficiency in Biblical Greek, including reading fluency, translation skills, and the ability to teach both introductory and advanced levels, is also essential.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in Biblical Hebrew and Greek, ensuring they develop a strong understanding of the original Scriptures
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Mentor students in their academic pursuits, providing guidance and support when needed
