About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to oversee the development and maintenance of mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise architecture.

As a Mobile Application Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of mobile developers while acting as an Agile Product Owner, defining product vision and backlog priorities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of mobile applications.
  • Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and promote agile excellence within the team.
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, performance, and security within the team.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery.
  • Drive technical strategy and decision-making, ensuring the adoption of modern technologies and methodologies.

Key Qualifications and Experiences

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience with large, global IT teams, focusing on the development lifecycle within product teams. Demonstrates strong capabilities in cross-functional collaboration and managing diverse, multicultural teams in a matrix organization to drive performance and innovation.
  • 10+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in mobile development frameworks such as React Native.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience to manage and mentor a team of developers, building highly skilled product teams and operating as a change agent.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Agile and Product team workflows, including epics, features, stories, sprints, and backlog management.
  • Financial Fluency: P&L understanding, Business case development, OKRs, KPIs.
  • Strong sense of urgency in delivering results and high cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Proven ability to lead global application delivery in a 24x7 business and secure operating environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and passion for product development.
  • Professional attitude and service orientation; team player.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
