About the Job
">This Supply Chain professional will play a critical role in driving the success of our business by overseeing direct material purchasing, supplier management, and foundational growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, with a proven track record of driving results and improving processes. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
- Collaborate with the local Supply Chain team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
- Develop and maintain sourcing practices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to purchasing specialists, promoting their training and career development.
- Perform any other functions related to this position as needed.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or similar with a Master's degree desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficient knowledge of the English language (90%).
- Proficiency in SAP, BW, International Markets, Google Suits, MS Office, Internet, and project management.
