Chevron is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join its team in El Trapial field. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing reliability activities in accordance with the new reliability strategy to ensure production equipment functions as designed and service lives are met.
Key responsibilities include leading efforts in El Trapial field to execute reliability activities, supporting the implementation of reliability standards, and executing the reliability action plan in the field. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree or technical certifications with at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
The position is based in El Trapial field with a rotational schedule of 7x7. Relocation is not offered for this role, and expatriate assignments will not be considered. Chevron regrets that it is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited Visa status for this position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading predictive maintenance and condition monitoring projects, responsible for Bad Actors evaluations and action plans to address gaps to reduce failures and loss production opportunities. The candidate will also be responsible for RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) and actively participating in risk management studies and in process safety safeguard verification activities.
The ideal candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of the organization. They will also have the ability to identify, define problems, and provide solutions to the client through clear and precise communication.
