Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Jira Systems Administrator to join our innovative team at ISR Division Systems, LLC. This role focuses on optimizing our project management tools and enhancing our agile development methodologies. Initially, this position will be remote, with the potential to transition to a permanent, full-time role as we expand our operations.

Compensation: $1,700-$2,500 monthly (US Dollars) based on experience.

Contractual Engagement: The selected candidate will start as a remote contractor. Registration with the relevant tax authorities is required, and you will be responsible for issuing invoices for your services, receiving payments in US dollars. We aim to offer a full-time, onsite position once our new office is operational.

Language Requirements: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential. All application materials, including the application form and resume, must be submitted in English to ensure effective communication within our diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and tailor Jira projects, workflows, fields, and screens to align with specific project requirements.
  • Create custom dashboards and reporting tools to enhance project management efficiency.
  • Design and maintain comprehensive Jira dashboards and reports for stakeholder visibility.
  • Ensure robust Jira workflows for critical project management processes, including change and risk management.
  • Set up time logging features with detailed reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement Jira process improvements.
  • Provide training and support to project teams, enhancing their Jira skills.
  • Evaluate and integrate Jira add-ons to expand project management capabilities.
  • Address and resolve Jira-related issues promptly.
  • Document Jira processes and guidelines thoroughly.
  • Utilize Jira for advanced project forecasting and resource management.
  • Adjust Confluence settings to meet organizational documentation needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Jira administration and configuration.
  • Strong background in project management within a technology-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple teams and manage various projects simultaneously.
  • Experience fostering collaboration among remote development teams.
  • Adept at identifying process inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
  • History of managing diverse projects under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with dictation and voice translation software.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
