The Opportunity

We have an exciting position available for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our mobile plant team at our Torr works quarry near Shepton Mallet.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of light vehicles and heavy mobile plant equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition at all times.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in an industrial environment and work with some of the biggest Mobile Plant vehicles in the UK.

Covering Monday-Friday days, rotating shifts from 05:00-14:30 & 08:00-17:30, you'll work in a fully equipped workshop with its own stores and specialist tools readily available.

You'll carry out repairs safely, adhering to our strict Health & Safety protocols and maintaining a hazard-free environment.

**Job Requirements**

• Experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, confident in servicing and repairing 4x4 vehicles used by staff within the quarry grounds and on UK public roads.
• Able to work safely within an industrial engineering environment.
