Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Controller to join our Business Area Controlling team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for actively managing the top-line revenue for SAP's cloud and maintenance business across six regions: EMEA North, EMEA South, MEE, APJ, NA, and LAC. This involves implementing and optimizing planning models, forecast and actual analyses covering all market units within the regional scope.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the maintenance & cloud revenue for Market Unit (MU) LAC SOUTH in LAC region on all controlling aspects like budget, forecast, and actual analysis.
- Contributing to steering SAP's biggest revenue stream.
- Collaborating with regional/Global CoE, maintenance business leaders, and Global Finance Shared Services functions and Global controlling.
Key Requirements
- Leadership and Management
- Acting as a trusted advisor for financial topics around maintenance & Cloud, enhanced with strategic business knowhow for present and forward-looking trends.
- Driving continuous improvement process, acting as a real orchestrator, and showing ability to connect across various layers in the organization, especially in the context of simplification / automation.
- Analytical and Technical Skills
- Very strong analytical skills, conceptual and structured thinking.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong skills in root cause analysis in ERP & potentially RAR systems as well diagnosing inefficiencies in business processes and initiating and completing corrective actions.
- Education and Qualifications
- University's degree, MBA/ACA or equivalent with emphasis on Finance/Controlling/Accounting.
- Experience
- Minimum 4 to 5 years professional work experience with a strong focus on controlling and/or accounting, preferably with a current role at an MU/Regional level across various LOBs.
