Estimated Salary Range

Rm 80,000 - Rm 120,000 per annum (estimated), depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud deployments, streamlining CI/CD processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Manage and Optimize Kubernetes Clusters: Administer and optimize AKS clusters to ensure efficient resource utilization and application deployment.
  • Develop CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement Jenkins pipelines to automate application deployments and enhance collaboration between teams.
  • Containerize Applications: Use Docker to containerize applications and orchestrate them in the cloud environment.
  • Implement Monitoring and Logging Solutions: Set up ELK stack to monitor and log infrastructure and application performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Hands-on Experience in AWS: Proficient in managing EC2, S3, EFS, RDS, ASG, VPC, Security (IAM, KMS, Security Groups) etc.
  • Kubernetes Experience: Skilled in managing and scaling EKS clusters.
  • Containerization Experience: Experienced in using Docker for containerization and orchestration.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Familiar with Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Codedeploy, and other technologies.
  • Scripting Experience: Proficient in scripting languages like Bash and Python.
  • Collaboration Experience: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with remote and on-site teams.
  • Problem-Solving Experience: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
