The Senior Content Developer will manage and execute legal content development projects and knowledge initiatives for the practice and industry groups, within the context of Baker McKenzie's Knowledge services and strategy. Through the Knowledge services, the role holder will create and make first-class knowledge easily available, increasing the quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness of the advice, service, and products that the firm gives its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the creation, collection, and maintenance of knowledge content.
- Collaborate with lead knowledge lawyers, associate director for content development, and other knowledge content specialists to ensure that knowledge content is created following policy and best practice.
- Provide legal input into client-facing initiatives and other business development resources and products.
- Identify and lead content development knowledge projects and initiatives as relevant and aligned with Knowledge services and strategy.
Requirements:
- Qualified as a lawyer with strong post-qualification experience or significant relevant experience working in knowledge management and learning within a law firm.
- Able to work well with others and to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders quickly.
- Experience in facilitating groups and training.
- Outstanding communicator who can deal confidently, tactfully, and appropriately with people at all levels of the organization.
- Credible and persuasive with excellent presentation skills.
