Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team at Kate Spade. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business results, developing sales strategies, and leading a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Partner with Store Manager to develop business-driving initiatives that build repeat business or attract new customers to the store.
  • Sales Performance: Communicate and achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, adt, upt, and capture rate.
  • Team Development: Ensure all associates complete the sales training program and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
  • Sales Environment: Model and supervise the selling environment, provide consistent coaching on sales training process to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
Leadership Expectations
  • Personal Sales Goals: Achieve personal sales goals and educate team on sales plans, personal sales goals, store stats, and drive team to achieve them.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a team environment by creating a fun, competitive, inviting atmosphere.
  • Customer Service: Ensure the highest level of service is provided to all customers through extensive product knowledge and the completion of product profiles.
Operational Excellence
  • Store Operations: Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing facility.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately process all POS transactions and inventory functions, such as transfers, receiving, FedEx shipments, repairs, and damages to maintain the integrity of the inventory.
  • Loss Prevention: Adhere to Kate Spade loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
  • Education: College degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, proactive ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Physical Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work store schedule, as needed, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods of time, safely lifting boxes up to 40 pounds, comfortable climbing ladders.
