The Position
We're seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products, working closely with the product team to develop test plans, conduct functional testing, and identify areas for improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and technical specifications.
- Report defects found during functional testing and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the product team to define test scenarios and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Work closely with the Quality Engineering Manager to prioritize testing efforts and improve overall quality processes.
- Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to test cases, test plans, and test results.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software testing across web and mobile platforms.
- A strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, demonstrated through the creation and completion of test plans, risk-based analysis, and ad-hoc test coverage.
- Able to serve as a source of truth and quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Jira, TestRail, Android Studio, Postman, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, and PostgreSQL.
- English proficiency is a must, as clear communication with English-speaking coworkers is essential.
- Able to commit to working full-time from Monday to Friday, with onsite presence at our CABA office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
