Your Role: As a key member of our team, you will lead, develop and present solutions for new opportunities, focused on top of the sales funnel activities for AWS. Your leadership role will involve mentoring and guiding a team of pre-sales solutions architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Bootstrap, lead and mentor a team of pre-sales solutions architects, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients, prospects, and vendors to gather requirements for new projects and opportunities.
- Solution Design and SOW definition: Architect and design tailored solutions leveraging AWS and our services, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and engineering team to design and implement effective solutions, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
- Presentation: Prepare and deliver high-impact pre-sales presentations showcasing the services and solutions offered by AWS and us.
- Training & Events: Lead activities and events such as demos and immersion days for internal and external audiences.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features, integrating new features and improvements into client solutions and team practices.
- Process Improvement: Propose and implement new initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with sales senior management on strategic planning and business development initiatives to drive growth and market penetration.
Requirements / Technical Skills:
- Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect or in a similar senior technical role.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform in AWS.
- Proficiency in Docker Container Orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s), AWS ECS and Serverless Architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with observability tools and practices (Metrics, Logs, APM, Traces).
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards and practices on AWS.
- Technical background in DevOps practices and AWS Cloud Native Architectures.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
