Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our team in support of our private equity business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of the general ledger, corresponding financial statements, and related supporting documents.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a small firm organizational structure, be a self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and be flexible to work on multiple business activities at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation, analysis, and interpretation of the general ledger, corresponding financial statements, and related supporting documents.
- Full-cycle general accounting and month-end close activities.
- Assisting with Accounts Payables/Receivables.
- Performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit and tax preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
About You
- 5+ years' experience in general or tax accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases, including QuickBooks and Excel.
