The Santa Fe Opera is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Theatre Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patrons have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive at the theatre.

Salary and Benefits

This is a seasonal, non-benefited and non-exempt position paid hourly at a rate of $15.00. A flexible evening schedule is required, and the ability to stand for extended periods of time is necessary.

Job Description

As a Theatre Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patrons in a friendly and courteous manner, handing out program books, directing patrons to their correct seats, and answering questions about the theatre on performance evenings. You will also be responsible for enforcing house rules and providing quality patron service in a busy environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Friendly and approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with the seating layout and ability to navigate it
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
