Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Air Liquide. As a key member of our Division Accounting department, you will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and preparing historical financial data and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and analyze financial results for budget variances and exceptional trends.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare reports and other information related to internal requests from the Division/branches as well as Corporate.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist Accounting Supervisor with analyzing financial results, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with the Company's financial policies/procedures, maintain internal accounting controls, and identify potential risks.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: One to three years in a corporate accounting or applicable financial role.
  • Skills: Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Office, including Excel (Pivot Tables, and V-Lookup), and financial applications within SAP. Strong mathematical aptitude, analytical skills, and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Personal Qualities: Customer-focused behavior, diplomatic and professional demeanor, ability to work in a team environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
