The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to participate in the modelling and design of a data repository for a new product of Business Intelligence & Analytics, using ETL tools, related to an Insurance Management system. The successful candidate will work closely with insurance business analysts to determine KPIs, define and implement methodologies and standards for data-driven projects, and develop reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify data storage requirements and determine the storage needs of the company.
  • Build a Data Warehouse capability.
  • Develop reliable data pipelines.
  • Design and implement ETL processes.
  • Ensure data quality and perform debugging.

Requirements

  • ETL Toolbox: Knowledge in ETL tools (Talend, ISST, Datastage, etc) preferred Talend.
  • 2+ years of experience in data-oriented projects (integration, migration, repository design).
  • SQL skills.
  • Scripting skills (PL-SQL, Bash).
  • Java skills.
  • Data Repository modelling and design skills (Data marts, data warehouse, data lakes, etc).
  • Database Engineering skills.
  • High level of self-organization.
  • Advanced student or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Intermediate English skills.
