Job Title: India Market Expansion Leader / General Manager

This leadership role involves driving sales revenue, managing local team budgets and costs, and establishing short, medium, and long-term company priorities and targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, focusing on the Indian/Southeast Asian market, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and operational management in the financial sector.

Our company is looking for an experienced leader to cover the Indian market and help us scale in the region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring sales teams to achieve sales targets. You will conduct regular meetings to supervise progress and track action plans.

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to secure resources for business development activities. You will set clear goals and KPIs for each department, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. You will communicate changes in direction and company policies to all stakeholders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Establish short, medium, and long-term company priorities and targets (financial and non-financial). Drive sales revenue and manage local team budgets and costs to ensure P&L accountability.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire sales teams (both leaders and individual contributors) to achieve sales targets. Conduct regular meetings to supervise progress and track action plans.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders to secure resources for business development activities. Set clear goals and KPIs for each department, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. Communicate changes in direction and company policies to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Operational Excellence: Conduct periodic reviews of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and spearhead enhancement projects. Research and analyze competitors and market trends to adjust business strategies as needed. Ensure all existing SOPs comply with regulatory provisions from relevant authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a management role within sales, focusing on the Indian/Southeast Asian market, with a strong record of driving sales growth and operational management in the financial sector, preferably in the FX industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and motivate sales teams. In-depth knowledge of the FX industry, market trends, and customer behavior. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Fluency in English.
