Tax Advisory Services

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in providing financial advisory services to clients. Your expertise will be sought after to prepare and audit income tax provisions, assist with income tax filings, and consult on planning opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting client engagements by reviewing staff work product, coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics.
  • Identifying and resolving tax technical issues and sharing insights that improve processes and overall efficiency.
  • Developing a brief understanding of day-to-day activities and transactions related to tax and tax accounting matters and ensuring they are properly addressed.
  • Global direct tax compliance - Assisting in preparation of income tax returns and workpapers for foreign jurisdictional income taxes with internal teams or with EY country teams.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and approximately three years of related work experience are required.

A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation are essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and data mining tools is also required.
