Job Description

The SOX BP/IT Testing Operations Center Manager is responsible for ensuring the company has the necessary internal control and assessment elements in place to meet the USA's SEC SOX requirements.

This role involves direct execution of assigned control testing and reviews over Business and IT controls.

  • Oversee the execution of assigned control testing and reviews over Business and IT controls.
  • Partner with the SOX PMO and external auditors to maximize reliance on the SOX PMO's work.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with the various lines of business included in the company's SOX process.
  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, company policies and procedures, and completing required training.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration or related field.
  • 6+ years or more of BP SOX Testing related experience.
  • Business proficiency and fluency in oral and written English and Spanish.
  • In-depth knowledge focused on Business SOX, ICFR, COSO Framework, and baseline understanding of IT controls.
  • Practical and deep knowledge of SOX and COSO along with experience testing Business and IT controls.
