We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mental Health Counselor to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide assessment and therapeutic intervention for clients with dual-diagnosed disorders, utilizing expertise in psychotherapy and various treatment modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary mental health evaluations for referred clients
- Perform the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) Assessment to officially open cases
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans using various modalities
- Collaborate with the Case Manager, Peer Support Specialist, and community agencies
- Stay informed about best practices for dual-diagnosed clients and attend relevant trainings
- Provide counseling services in diverse settings
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation, ensuring confidentiality
