Job Summary:
This position requires a thorough knowledge of Flowserve's products and services. The Production Manager ensures that deadlines are under control and determines if it is necessary to outsource processes or work overtime to meet delivery dates. The Production Manager manages the availability of manufactured parts, purchased parts and outside operations to align with Flowserve's workforce. This position reports to the QRC General Manager or Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee resource, expense, and margin management to drive business growth.
- Operational Planning: Lead the development and implementation of QRC's planning strategy.
- Production Leadership: Drive the transformation of QRC's production processes to design, develop, and maximize resources.
- Sales Support: Provide technical assistance to the sales department to pursue new opportunities.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the QRC General Manager or Director of Operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Language Skills: Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Experience: At least 5 years of total P&L responsibility, including standard cost systems, manufacturing operations, and product development.
- Technical Knowledge: Excellent technical knowledge of Flowserve products.
- Business Acumen: Familiarity with financial and operational reporting, metrics, and performance management systems.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, especially the ability to influence an entire organization and build high-performing teams.
- Process Knowledge: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes is a must for the position.
