About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our elite team at Blackthorn. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our solutions by testing and validating our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure thorough testing of our products.
- Review tickets (bugs, enhancements, new features) and other technical documents to engage in each phase of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop, run, repair, manual, and automated tests to identify and report defects.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate, and perform quality testing activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional scrum teams and across the larger company to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products.
- Demonstrate best practices in everything you do, including meaningful test coverage and striving to ensure maintainability.
- Work in time zones within UTC -3 to -7 to ensure global coverage and support.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of software testing experience with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques.
- 1+ years of testing experience on the Salesforce platform with a strong understanding of its features and functionality.
- Blackthorn product experience is a plus, but not required.
- Salesforce admin certification is a plus, but not required.
- Postman and Tricentis Testim experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, fast learning, and organized to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Remains level-headed in high-pressure situations to ensure effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, self-regulated environment to ensure adaptability and flexibility.

Blackthorn is a growing, distributed team in four countries, with four native apps on the Salesforce AppExchange for managing Events, collecting Payments, sending Messages, and protecting Data.
