Your JobWe're seeking an experienced Data Analytics Engineer Manager to join our team and help us drive business growth and innovation through data-driven insights.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead Data and Analytics Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives within the Snowflake environment and other advanced data platforms, collaborating closely with Product Managers and stakeholders.
- Strategic Product Backlog Management: Manage the Data and Analytics product backlog with precision, ensuring that each item aligns with our long-term vision and immediate business needs.
- Release Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain release plans for data and analytics enhancements, incorporating financial costs and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Collaborative Product Development: Engage continuously with the Scrum team and subject matter experts to refine backlog items, ensuring all developments align with our strategic mission and stakeholder expectations.
- Sprint Management and Execution: Define clear priorities and sprint goals, focused on crucial data and analytics projects that advance our mission.
- Quality Assurance and Stakeholder Engagement: Evaluate and maintain the integrity of all deliverables within the Snowflake environment, ensuring they meet our standards and mission.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate resources across various departments for meticulous planning and execution of product backlog items.
- Cultural and Team Development: Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Data and Analytics team.
- Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge of Snowflake Ecosystem Proficiency, Snowflake Architecture Design, Snowflake Security Proficiency, Scalability & High Availability, Snowflake Cloud Services Implementation, Agile Development with Snowflake, and Strategic Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking.
- Leadership and Management: 7+ years of experience leading large, remote, global IT teams, with 5+ years focused on development lifecycle leadership within a product team framework.
- Specialized Skills: Prototyping, Vendor and Partner Engagement, AI, Machine Learning and Data Management, Cloud Data Architecture Design, and Strong multi-cultural leadership and management skills.
