Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Flight Paramedic I to join our team as a critical care transport specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital advanced life support care to patients in need.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in paramedicine, with a minimum of 36 months of experience in a busy 911 transport or flight setting within the last 5 years. A bachelor's degree in a health-related field is preferred.
As a member of our Clinical Flight Crew, you will maintain a weight not to exceed 225 pounds, including empty flight suit and boots.
You will be responsible for assessing, triaging, and treating patients, ensuring safe transport to the appropriate medical facility.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage critically ill patients during transport.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years' recent experience in a busy 911 system.
- Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus.
