About the Position:

\

South Coast Community Services is seeking a skilled Clinician I-IV to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services, including assessment, psychotherapy, and case management.

\

The successful candidate will work with children ages 10-17 years old and non-minor-dependents who have involvement with The Department of Children and Family Services and/or Regional Center. Our goal is to provide clients with the necessary support to reunite with their families or transition to a foster home within six months of admission.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Utilize a trauma-informed approach when working with clients and their families.
  • Provide individual and family therapy, formulate diagnoses, and complete clinical assessments and treatment plans.
  • Acquire and apply up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based interventions and methodologies.
  • Administer measures such as the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 and utilize results to inform treatment.
  • Collaborate effectively with outside agencies to ensure clients' treatment goals are met and in compliance with court orders.

Requirements:

\
  1. Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  2. 1+ years' experience in report writing, assessment/diagnostic skills, group and family therapy skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

\
  1. PsyD/PhD/LCSW/LMFT preferred.
  2. Valid CA driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
