Job Summary
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a dedicated Operating Room Nurse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oncology nursing and have experience working in an acute care setting.

About the Role
The Operating Room Nurse Specialist will serve patients prior to, during, and after invasive surgeries or medical procedures. They will plan, provide, and supervise nursing interventions for individuals with cancer-related health care problems, diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems, and execute medical regimens prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing interventions for patients undergoing surgery
- Diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems
- Execute medical regimens prescribed by licensed healthcare providers
- Supervise nurse staff and ensure seamless patient care
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs and current literature

Qualifications
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Equivalent of one (1) year of full-time oncology nursing experience
