The Global Operations Administration encompasses centralized corporate cost centers, including Global Procurement, Engineering, and Quality, all overseen by global functional leaders.
This position involves key activities such as month-end closing, forecasting, annual planning, and reporting. The role collaborates closely with executive leaders in Supply Chain and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic financial assessments of Global Operations Administration expenditures and Global Supply Chain Capital Investments.
- Prepare and execute month-end journal entries for over 20 Global Operations Administration cost centers, ensuring accurate cross-charges across regions or functions for centralized expenses.
- Assist in managing the mid-year and annual planning processes for Global Operations Administration, partnering with Global Engineering on the annual Global Supply Chain Capital Investments budget timeline and corporate requirements.
- Oversee the monthly closing and forecasting processes for Global Operations Administration.
- Present monthly financial results and forecast analytics to the SVP of Global Supply Chain Finance, while reviewing outcomes with global functional leaders regarding their expenditures.
- Act as the primary liaison for HR Finance Bonus Center of Excellence regarding PIP and MIP eligible roster updates for Global Operations Administration personnel, collaborating closely with the global HR team.
- Work in conjunction with the Global Engineering team on the monthly closing and forecasting processes.
- Provide insights and address inquiries from CP&A on specific Operations Administration requests throughout the year.
- Coordinate the annual restatement processes for any activities affecting Global Operations Administration cost centers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and possessing a high level of integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to convey and share financial information with non-financial leaders.
