Job Overview:

The Addiction Recovery Specialist will play a critical role in supporting individuals struggling with substance use disorders in a correctional facility setting. This role requires a deep understanding of addiction and its treatment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' substance use disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address physical, emotional, and psychological needs
  • Lead group and individual therapy sessions focused on relapse prevention and recovery skills
  • Facilitate coordination of care with community providers and support services
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Requirements:

  • Clinical licensure (LISAC, LASAC, or LSAT)
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in addictions treatment preferred
