Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the execution of complex projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Define and drive project scope, goals, and deliverables, working closely with senior stakeholders to align on objectives.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Oversee and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA engineers, to achieve project milestones.
  4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  5. Progress Monitoring: Continuously track project progress, providing detailed status reports and performance metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
  6. Documentation Oversight: Ensure the creation and maintenance of all essential project documentation, including requirements, user stories, design documents, and test plans.
  7. Agile Leadership: Facilitate and champion Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  8. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing visibility into project progress, risks, and issues.
  9. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with the organization's strategic objectives.
  10. Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules, optimizing the use of available resources to deliver value.
  11. Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment, mentoring project managers and team members, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  12. Strategic Alignment: Work closely with senior leadership to align project outcomes with broader organizational goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software project management, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects.
  3. Agile Expertise: Extensive experience working in Agile development environments, with a deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
  4. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience mentoring and developing project teams.
  5. Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or equivalent platforms.
